Protective Factors and Burnout Risk of Teachers During the COVID-19 Pandemic – A Two-Step Cluster Analysis

Teacher burnout has been shown to be one of the most common negative consequences COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed identify distinct psychological resources and risk profiles teachers examine their association with Kolb’s educator roles professional experience. Methods: The survey data were collected from 330 preschool primary school (84 males, Mage = 38.3, SD 9.14) using a convenience sampling method. Results: two-step cluster analysis revealed two profiles. first profile, “high resources, no risk,” was characterized by absent symptoms increased levels well-being, self-control, positive emotionality. second “moderate mild burnout,” associated medium emotionality accompanied burnout. Our findings highlighted that had significantly higher score for facilitator role expert coach roles. Additionally, less experience more likely belong one, considering adequate skills in digital literacy. Conclusions: These provide new insights into explanation teacher design intervention programs.
